Terwijl het debuut Psychic Chasms nog moet uitkomen heeft het mysterieuze dreamwave duo Neon Indian (Brooklyn/ Austin) al een flinke online opmars gemaakt, met als voorlopig hoogtepunt hun eerste single die het tot ‘best new music’ schopte op Pitchfork. Op moment van schrijven duikt op ditzelfde alternatieve platform de recensie (cijfer: 8.6!!) van hun debuutalbum op en lezen we dat de act later dit jaar samen met White Lies door Ierland trekt. En last but not least: Neon Indian staat op Bazar Curieux!

De officiële bio van Neon Indian maakt erg nieuwsgierig! "An elusive new project from composer Alan Palomo. Neon Indian delivers equal parts synthetic nostalgia, Dreampop lullabies, and grinding guitar noise to create something eerier than the sum of its parts. Forged after a hazy winter gathering in Texas, this initial batch of tracks were the result of field recordings, record samples, a collection of bizarre synth sounds.
