21.06.2012 Kapok at Parfum de BoemBoem

Just announced: Kapok (from Kyteman’s Kytopia label) will perform on the construction site of the new Paulus Church during Parfum de BoemBoem, this Saturday (June 23). Kapok played the Oerol festival this week and the Motel Mozaique festival earlier this year.

Kapok loves to venture off the beaten path. In their trademark line up of horn, guitar and drums, the trio sets off in search of new sounds and rhythms. Kapok makes free, wild, adventurous music somewhere between jazz, rock and improvisation, and there is always a possibility that they play something completely different than planned.
